QuickFIX Global Connect (“QuickFIX”, “we”, “us”) is a home services marketplace operated by QuickFixGlobal LLP, built on 18+ years of operating heritage from the Microsysnet group. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to customers, servicemen, and service providers who use our website and app.
1. Information We Collect
- Account details: full name, email address, phone number, state, and district, collected when you register.
- Location: approximate latitude and longitude when you use the “Find me” feature, used to match you with nearby services.
- Booking & payment data: service address, booking history, and payment references (we do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by our payment partners).
- Verification documents: ID proofs, selfies, and trade licenses submitted for KYC, used solely to verify identity and eligibility.
- Usage data: device, browser, and interaction data collected via cookies and analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and provide the services you request.
- To match customers with verified servicemen and providers in their area.
- To process bookings, payments, escrow payouts, and commissions.
- To verify identity, run background checks, and maintain platform safety.
- To send booking confirmations, service updates, and support messages (including via WhatsApp and SMS).
- To improve our services, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We share your information only as necessary to operate the platform: servicemen and providers receive the customer name, address, and service details required to complete a booking; customers receive the assigned serviceman’s name and contact details. We use trusted third parties for payments (Stripe, Razorpay), communications (Twilio, Gmail), analytics (Google Analytics, Google Ads), and hosting. These processors are bound by confidentiality and may only use your data to provide services to us. We disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and measure traffic. Google Analytics and Google Ads help us understand usage and improve our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.
5. Data Retention & Security
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
6. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and opt out of marketing communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. KYC documents may be retained for a longer period as required by law.
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of QuickFIX Global Connect. By registering or booking a service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Accounts & Verification
You must provide accurate, complete information at registration and keep it updated. Servicemen and providers must complete KYC verification and may be required to hold valid trade licenses and insurance. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
2. Bookings, Payments & Escrow
Customers pay upfront for bookings; payments are held in escrow and released to the serviceman or provider once the service is marked complete and verified. For project quotes, milestone-based payments apply as agreed in the accepted quote. Refunds are handled per our refund policy and applicable law.
3. Provider & Serviceman Obligations
- Provide services with reasonable skill and care, using genuine materials and parts.
- Arrive on time; respect customer property and privacy.
- Quote and price services transparently; honor accepted bids and quotes.
- Maintain any required licenses, insurance, and tax registrations.
4. Commissions & Fees
QuickFIX charges a flat commission on each completed booking (default 15% for standard bookings, 5% for accepted project quotes, subject to your agreement and admin-configured rates). Commission is deducted from the escrow payout. There are no upfront lead fees for providers.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Circumventing the platform to take payments or bookings off-platform.
- Misrepresenting identity, qualifications, or business details.
- Discrimination, harassment, or unsafe behavior toward customers or workers.
- Posting fraudulent, illegal, or infringing content.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
QuickFIX acts as a marketplace connecting customers with independent service professionals. We are not the employer of servicemen or providers and are not liable for their acts or omissions, except where required by law. Services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Our liability for direct losses is limited to the commission earned on the relevant booking.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail verification, or pose a risk to the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations) will remain in effect.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kottayam, Kerala, India.
